The Tonje skis are playful even on steep descents and are designed for adventurous women. With a 22 mm sidecut and a tapered tip, these skis are built to respond and provide control in loose conditions. The Tonje is equipped with the Skinlock system, ready for the immediate attachment of the X-Skin climbing skin for ascents. For these skis, we recommend a 58 mm X-Skin in mohair or nylon.
Tonje Blomseth may not be the most famous skier in the world. But since her journey from the southernmost to the northernmost points of Norway at the age of 17 (the youngest to accomplish this), this woman from Trøndelag has played a remarkable role in the Norwegian adventure community. Today, she lives as a hunter in the deep forests of Canada, using skis daily. She is the 2016 winner of the Årets Villmarking award, previously awarded to figures like Lars Monsen and Cecilie Skog.
